The NAD logo appears as a light watermark in the bottom right corner and "#AskHoward" on the bottom left corner. NAD CEO Howard A. Rosenblum sits at his desk.
HOWARD: Hello! For this month's Ask Howard Anything (AHA), I'm excited to announce the release of a new web video series called Deaf History That! This series was made possible thanks to Emanuel "Manny" Golden for establishing the Visual History Fund. The fund was created because he believed in the importance of preserving Deaf America's history, visually. Linsay Darnall, Jr. was a key player in gathering information, producing, and performing! A short video of various topics will be released every month, starting this month. I'm excited for you to enjoy! This series parallels the NAD's mission which states that the NAD preserves, protects, and promotes the civil, human, and linguistic rights of deaf and hard of hearing people. This historical series will help us appreciate how far we've come and what we have to look forward to. I hope you'll enjoy this fun video series and watch a video every month! Again, thanks to Linsay Darnall, Jr. and Emanuel "Manny" Golden for making the Deaf History That series possible. Now, enjoy!
